TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service are a binding legal agreement between you and Demargia Villas that govern your use of the website. When used in these Terms, “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Demargia Villa, with whom you are contracting.

 

 

CHANGE BOOKING

Please contact us if you would like to change your dates or switch to another accommodation.

 
 

BOOKINGS

When booking an apartment, you are agreeing to pay all charges for your booking including the apartment price, deposit amount and security deposit identified during checkout. The cancellation policy and any other rules, standards, policies, or requirements identified in the listing or during checkout form part of your contract with Demargia Villas.

Once your booking has been confirmed, a limited license to enter, occupy and use the Accommodation has been set. We retain the right to re-enter the Accommodation during your stay, to the extent: (i) it is reasonably necessary, (ii) permitted by your contract with us, and (iii) consistent with applicable law. If you stay past checkout, we have the right to make you leave in a manner consistent with applicable law, including by imposing reasonable overstay penalties. You may not exceed the maximum number of allowed Guests.

 

 

CENCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 14 full days prior to our local check-in time. For a 50% refund, you must cancel 7 full days before our local check in time, otherwise no refund. If the deposit and security deposit have been paid, 50% of the total price will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded. If you cancel less than 7 days in advance or decide to leave early after check-in, the deposits and nights not spent are not refunded.

But, in certain situations, other policies take precedence and determine what amount is refunded to you. If something outside your control requires you to cancel a reservation, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.

 

CANCELLATION DUE TO UNFORESEEN EVENTS

This Policy applies to cancellations that are made because of unforeseen events beyond your control, which make it impracticable or illegal to travel. If you are affected by one of the following events, then you can cancel you reservation and either change your dates or receive a full refund.

 

Government-declared emergencies and epidemics: Local or national emergencies, epidemics, pandemics, and public health emergencies.

Unexpected governmental changes: Changes to visa or passport requirements and travel restrictions made by governmental agencies that prevent or prohibit travelling to, staying at, or returning from Greece or Zakynthos. This doesn’t include lost or expired travel documents or other personal circumstances relating to you authorisation to travel.

 

SECURITY DEPOSITS

If you or any of your guests are responsible for damaging any real or personal property at one of our villas, you give us the authority to deduct the costs and/or expenses from your security deposit.

 

APARTMENT RULES

 
Please respect the approved number of guests for overnight stays and inquire with us if you’re unsure about the rules for visitors.
 
No pets are allowed in any of our apartments. We do accept service or emotional support animals and just ask that you please inform us prior to your stay.
 
Do not smoke inside any of our apartments. This includes the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, etc.
 
Do not tamper with or remove an approved and appropriately disclosed security or monitoring device from the listing property.
 
Please do not leave the apartment in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning (ex: with soiled carpet, moldy dishes, excessive trash, etc.).
 
 

SAFETY TIPS & GUIDELINES

During the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important to keep health and safety in mind:
– Please wear a mask or face covering when interacting in person
– Maintain 2 meters | 6 feet of distance from each other at all times

Please contact us if you’ve recently been exposed to or have symptoms of COVID-19
Please DO NOT enter the property if:
– you are actively infected or have tested positive with COVID-19 in the past 30 days
– you suspect you are sick or have been exposed and are awaiting test results to confirm or deny a diagnosis of COVID-19
– you are showing symptoms or are concerned about possible infection of COVID-19
– ou’ve had close, sustained contact with an individual confirmed or suspected to be infected with COVID-19, within the last 14 days*

 

For your peace of mind, we:
– ventilate the space before and during cleaning
– use disinfectants
– wash or disinfect our hands, and wear a mask and gloves while cleaning
– sweep, vacuum, dust, and/or mop areas before sanitising
– wash all dishes and laundry at the highest heat setting possible
– wipe down hard surfaces with soap and water
– spray high-touch surfaces in each room with a disinfectant spray
– safely dispose of or wash cleaning supplies and protective gear
