Best time to travel to Zakynthos
Found in the mediterranean sea Zakynthos island has hot summers and cooler winters, making the months of June, July, August and September the best time to visit. During these months you will encounter dry, sunny weather with little to no rain or cloudy days.
This is also the time Loggerhead turtles make their way to the pristine Greek beaches to lay their eggs, meaning you have an excellent chance of seeing some during your holiday. Loggerhead turtles, also known as caretta turtles, are heavily protected by locals so be sure to follow the rules and signs located along their nesting sites to ensure everyones safety.
